MICHAEL SOLTYS is a professor and Chair of Computer Science & IT at CSU Channel Islands. His expertise is in the field of algorithms and cybersecurity. He is the Director of IT Security for Executek International where he specializes in forensic work. He has taught courses in cryptography and security at many institutions, including McMaster University, University of Colorado at Boulder, UC San Diego, and others. It is a wellknown fact that one of the principal sources of cybervulnerability is faulty software; in order to address this, Michael has written a unique textbook in algorithms for Software Engineers where he emphasizes correctness of design.
