Antennas: From Ham Radio to Modern Communication Systems

On May 9, Dr. Hanseung Lee of HRL gave a seminar to the IEEE Buenaventura Communications Society Chapter. TheĀ  seminar provided a comprehensive overview of basic antenna theory and the introduction of various antenna types, from ham radio to modern communication systems. He began with an introduction to basic antenna theory, including the principles of radiation and antenna parameters. He then explored various types of antennas and their respective properties and applications. He also covered advanced antenna concepts, antenna arrays and beamforming techniques. The focus was on practical applications and how different types of antennas can be used to advance communication systems.

Dr. Lee has agreed to let us post the slides from his talk, which are available here: Antennas.
