Hackathon Mentors Needed
Hackathon by the Sea-Girls Edition 2019 is a two day event designed to create a positive environment for girls to use technology, which will seed a lifelong interest in the field. The theme-“Make tomorrow better”-prompts attendees to create projects that make everyday life a bit easier.

They are looking for
Developers
As a mentor, you will help students:
- Break their project down into buildable pieces
- Answer technical questions
- Turn their dreams into reality
When they need you most:
- Throughout the entire event! But you’re welcome to leave whenever you’re too tired.
Designers
As a mentor, you will help students:
- Design a solution that can be completed in the allotted time
When they need you most:
- In the first three hours of the event (7:30PM-10:30PM).
Product Managers
As a mentor, you will help students:
- Develop a problem, solution, and roadmap
- Create an elevator pitch to convince the judges to vote for their project
When they need you most:
- In the first three hours of the event (7:30PM-10:30PM)
- In the last three hours of the event (2:30PM-5:00PM)
Teachers
As a mentor, you will help students:
- Develop a problem and solution
- Answer technical questions
When they need you most:
- Throughout the entire event! But you’re welcome to leave whenever you’re too tired.
Professionals in our Community
