seeks a Mixed Signal CMOS IC Designer to work on the design of analog and
digital building blocks for Si backplanes.
∙ Design standard analog and mixed signal building blocks at
schematics level. These circuits include biasing circuits, bandgap voltage
references, differential amplifiers, operational amplifiers, comparators,
sample and hold circuits, DACs, and ADCs.
∙ Should be fluent in SPICE, VerilogA, and Verilog for electrical
modelling and simulation.
∙ Should have experience in using Cadence IC tools, such as Virtuoso
custom design tools (schematic and layout editing), Spectre circuit
simulation, Calibre DRC and LVS, and parasitic extraction.

Electrical Engineer – Goleta, CA
As an
Electrical Engineer you will design, build, and test medical devices, as well
support the development of tooling and test fixtures for the development
and/or manufacture of medical devices. The main responsibilities of this
position include working with a cross-disciplinary team to understand the
requirements of the product and/or tooling, and then converting those
requirements into a product (whether the product be a medical device itself,
the tooling for the medical device, or test fixtures).
∙ 2-5 years’ experience.
∙ CAD proficiency.
∙ Electronics design experience in both digital and analog circuit
design.

Education
and/or Experience:
∙
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering and/or a related field.
∙ Experience in electronic analog and digital hardware design and
documentation.
∙ Minimum 20 years of EE experience, including 10 years of EE group
leadership experience.
∙ Medical device development under an FDA compliant quality system, or
other experience with design in a regulated industry.

∙
BS degree in Engineering or Chemistry related discipline preferably with

Materials/Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
