IEEE BV Section Spring Mixer was held in HUB101. 57 people registered. 44 attended the event. Food was catered in from Stonefire Grill.
Victor Lin, (Chair, Communication Chapter) was the emcee for the event.
Buenaventura Section and NEWC (National Engineering Week Committee) awarded scholarships to four deserving students from Ventura County colleges. Chair of the Scholarship Committee, Dennis Horowitz presented the scholarships.
Key note speaker Momin Quddus (Chair, BV Section) of JPL/NASA gave a lecture on NISAR Mission. The audience was very engaged. They followed the lecture with many interesting questions.
Many people in the audience thanked Buenaventura Section for organizing the event.
