IEEE Buenaventura Hosts “Girls Make Tech with Heart” STEM Event
On October 7, 2017 IEEE Buenaventura Section hosted “Girls Make Tech with Heart”. About 100 middle school girls participated in nine different workshops, learning about coding, electronics, imaging, light, robotics, solar energy, and virtual reality. Separate parent workshops discussed aging gracefully with technology, jobs of the future, and the young female brain.
